1.Basic structure of LCD module

Liquid crystal materials change the propagation direction of light through the action of electric fields, thereby achieving changes in the brightness and color of pixels.

The backlight is the light source of the LCD module, which provides light to illuminate the LCD screen. Common backlight sources include cold cathode tubes (CCFL) and LEDs. CCFL backlights are low in cost, but have high power consumption and poor lighting uniformity; LED backlights are high in cost, but have low power consumption, good lighting uniformity, and long life. With the advancement of technology, LED backlights have gradually replaced CCFL backlights and become the mainstream choice.
