There are significant differences between high-brightness displays and transflective displays in many aspects.

 

High-brightness dispaly, as the name suggests, have higher brightness characteristics. It uses high-brightness technology to make the display clearer, brighter and with higher saturation. High-brightness displays are particularly suitable for outdoor environments, because by improving the LED backlight of the LCD display module, its brightness can reach a level comparable to or even higher than the brightness of outdoor natural light, so that it can still be clearly viewed under strong outdoor light. In addition, the high-brightness display also has wide viewing angle, dustproof, waterproof and other functions to adapt to various outdoor environments.

 

The transflective display is a special type of LCD that combines both transmissive and reflective display methods. Transmissive LCD displays rely on backlights and consume large amounts of power, while reflective LCDs rely on ambient light for display and have low power consumption but cannot be used in dark environments. Transflective display achieve a combination of transmission and reflection by setting diffuse reflective electrodes on the transparent electrodes of pixels and opening windows on the diffuse reflective electrodes. This allows it to have good display effects under different light conditions, and can be used in indoor environments with weak light, and can also remain clear in outdoor environments with strong light.
